I left school with the desire to work in sport & fitness hoping I could inspire others to lead a healthy lifestyle and have undertaken formal qualifications with this in mind. It was my love of swimming that lead me to getting involved in swim teaching when my children where young, completing the AUSTSWIM Certificate in 1997 while living in Western Australia, and converted to the New Zealand system in 2005. I have worked within the aquatics field for many years. December 2012 I graduated from New Zealand’s Southern Institute of Technology with a Certificate in Massage L4
I was also able to top up my skill set with a weekend work shop on Sports Massage delivered at the Waikato Institute of Technology in October 2014, and again August 2017, through an evening extension course, Advanced Sports Massage offered by AUT.
I have worked as a therapist at Castaways Resort for 3 and a half years, and for approx. 8 mths I did 1 day per week at Waiuku Health Plus Physio. Some of you may have met me while treating yourself to a massage at Whangamata.
I totally believe in the benefits of Massage for the rehabilitation and wellness of the mind and body, so please come and experience for yourself the magic of massage.
