Principal Physiotherapist Owner/Director BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy PGDip Veterinary Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) Animal Health
Becky gained her BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy in 2006. She initially worked within the National Health Service in the UK, but soon found her way into Private Practice, assessing and treating a variety of musculo-skeletal conditions. Becky went on to gain post graduate training in acupuncture. She also completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2010.
Her love of outdoor sports and horse riding led her to start focusing on body movement and patterning, which provided the basis for her to gain her APPI Modified Pilates International Instruction and Trainer Certification. She has since completed a number of professional development training programs to enhance her Pilates Instruction and Clinical Reasoning.
Becky's focus for the next 5 years is on Oncology Rehabilitation, pelvic health and nutrition. She is finishing a diploma in Nutrition and is excited to be delivering this part of wellness to her patients. She will become certified in the Paddle On program provided by www.pincandsteel.com next year and also complete her VM 2 and 3 www.barral.co.nz. Her pelvic health training will continue throughout the next few years ensuring she is delivering best practice to her patients.
Out of work Becky can be found running around (literally) with her two boys Richie and Marcus; swimming, biking, enjoying our local scenery whilst walking the lovely Monty dog.
